What is a REALTOR®?

REALTORS® (real-tors) are members of a three-tiered trade association (local, state and national), committed to professionalism and dignity in serving their clients and customers in the real estate industry. All members are required to abide by the strict Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®, and state and federal Fair Housing Laws. A REALTOR® in Wisconsin is required to take hours of continuing education, as approved by the Department of Licensing, and must pass an exam to renew their license every biennium. REALTORS® participate in the Multiple Listing Service where home listings are compiled and the data is generated and distributed throughout the entire country.

2026 Annual Cornhole Tournament, January 31 2026

Stephanie Mawhinney did a great job as always organizing this event and they made $500 for the Edgerton Community Outreach. Maybe next year we can encourage more support and players to help with the cause.

RPAC Annual trip to Madison for Realtor & Government Day

Our RPAC Committee had it’s annual trip to Madison for the 2026 REALTOR & Government Day. This year we had a great trip. We took a VanGalder bus to the Monona Terrace where we had a great meeting and said our farewells to Gov. Evers and wished him well. And, yes we heard his story of how he will not ever again, not use a REALTOR in the future. LOL We had great eats and unfortunately our legislatures were busy in sessions at the Capitol, but we had Wade Williams and Jennifer Moran step up to the plate and filled us with great knowledge and then headed back to the Monona Terrace where they had some great eats for us all.
